I love her philosophy on imperfection being where the beauty is. And that from far away it may look straight, but up close you can see the line waver. As much computer work I do, I love printmaking because of the mess and difference between each print. Like her, one of my favorite things has always been people's handmade signage. The artwork found painted on the walls outside mom and pop shops in little Havana, Miami for instance, are so fun and beautiful. Margaret's work inspires me and I feel a little pain in my heart when I remember she is gone.
